Nerd Eternal

Greetings earthlings! My name is Daniel. Stuff I like... Music of all kinds but mainly Classic Rock, Progressive Rock, New Wave, AOR/Hard Rock, Thrash/Speed Metal, Doom Metal, Death and Black Metal. I'm obsessed with stuff from the 1980's. I also like art, books and movies of varying styles and genres. Also, nature and girls. Feel free to send me any questions or if you just feel like talking.

PESTILENCE trivia! Right, now personally I never really got into the “Spheres” album but I know a lot of you guys like it. I was wondering if any of you know the reason why Dan Seagrave’s original artwork (seen here on the left) was rejected by the band? I can remember reading an interview with Patrick Mameli back then where he said that he had “outgrown Death Metal”, so maybe the original artwork basically looked too Death Metal for PESTILENCE in 1993? Or maybe the artwork they used suited the progressive/fusion style they played on that album? Anyway, that original artwork was eventually used on a re-release of the album a few years ago and if you haven’t seen it before, well…here ya go!
